That is rarely just a lack of information. More often, it is a lack of clear, steady communication.
Announcing change is the easy part. Helping people understand it, trust it and move with it takes time.
During change, what matters most is not how much you say. It is whether people feel guided, reassured and clear about what comes next.
People take their cues from leaders. When leaders feel uncertain, messages can wobble. When leaders feel supported, communication lands with greater confidence and credibility.
Many organisations struggle here, not because leaders do not care, but because they do not always have the space, structure or support to communicate change well.
Change communication is not business as usual. It needs focus, judgement and a real understanding of people, culture and context.
That is where I work best: partnering with leaders and teams to bring clarity and calm when it matters most. Sometimes alongside internal teams, sometimes independently, but always focused on what people need to understand, believe and trust.
What this means for you
People do not usually resist change itself. They resist confusion, silence and feeling left behind.
Clear, purposeful communication builds trust. And trust is what carries organisations through change.
If you are navigating change and want communication that feels calm, human and credible, I would be happy to help.
